Lesson 1 - what is what or which walls are "these" walls |
||
| While learning further lessons
you will come across different expressions describing the cube walls.
The aim of this lesson is to show which walls will be called: the whole left, the whole right, the middle, the whole front, the whole back, the
whole bottom, the whole top, and which pieces are called corners.
IMPORTANT! The colors I used in all the examples have nothing to do with the colors on the cube, they serve only to show which walls we are talking about. The blue pieces are on the wall we are talking about. Grey means the rest of the cube. |

The front view (on the front wall) will be essential in this course. It is very important that you don't twist the whole cube in all directions, but only the appropriate walls. The color of the whole wall is determined by the color of its middle piece !!! On the cube on the right the whole front wall is blue, the top wall is green, and the whole right wall is red. |
